Getting started

To get started building with xAI, follow one of the guides below:

• Prompt engineering in the PromptIDE
• Create an API key and use our SDK
• Use Grok via our SDK

Developer Access

To apply for developer access (i.e. access to the PromptIDE and API), sign in with your X account on x.ai. After signing in, head to the profile settings and fill out the Request Access form. You will be notified via email once your request has been reviewed.
