Overview

The xAI API offers developers access to our large language model Grok-1 and our digital assistant Grok.

Access

To use our API, you need to meet the conditions explained here and you need to have been given special permissions to access the API. If you are already a member of our Early Access program and would like to get API access, please message us on X @xAI.

No REST API

Please note that we currently do not offer a REST API. All our APIs are implemented in gRPC and are best used via our SDK.
